There’s no better day (read weekend) than a Fri-day of a monthend! For fellow entertainment-hungry fellaz like Yours Truly, a Friday can’t be better than this.

This therefore mean one, and one thing alone…partying from Friday till ….you know when.

Ok, without wasting much of your precious time, here’s where you are supposed to relieve your stresses this fun-thicken weekend.

F-R-I-D-A-Y

Ma Blacks @ Dwangwa Club

These need no introduction at all. The stage masters are gonna be rocking the Dwangwa Estate’s Dwangwa Club starting at 8:30 PM. As usual, they’re accompanied by the stage king himself, Anthony Makondetsa, Yanjanani Chumbu, and Khonzie Masimbe. So if reggae is your vibe, then Dwangwa club is the place to be, this Friday.

LUANAR (NRC ) Soshoz

As fellow entertainment seekers are gonna be rocking to the sweet reggae jamz courtesy of Ma Blacks at Dwangwa club, Luanar-Nrc’s campus will also be another pinnacle of fun-tainment starting this Friday. Students there are gonna be bowing down to their yet-to-be chosen Mr, and Miss NRC during a social weekend that will carry the students up to Sunday, the 28th May.

You don’t wanna miss this crazi-tainment event as a number of mouth-watering events have been lined up; Open- air disco, Mock wedding and also various performances from various urban artists in the likes of Ghetto Soldier, Jah-fever, and Sky Rockers.

Lulu and Mathumela Band, and Choir @ Chameleon Bar; Four Seasons

The 2017 Nyasa Music Awards winner (Secular artist) Lulu, and his Mathumela Band are gonna be entertaining audiences at the Chameleon Bar in the L- city. The show, sponsored by Go-Tv is set to rock the stage by 8 PM. Lulu rocks, and you simply wouldn’t want to miss him in concert. Would you?

Black Rhyno’s All Access (PASS) @ Cockpit

As night riders in Lilongwe will be treating theirselves to the sweet voice of Lulu, the other side of town is also going to be on fire.  The most decorated artist at the recent Nyasa Music Awards 2017, Tay Grin is to make it hot at The Cockpit in the same city and at around the same time as well.

The show is a “thank-you-my-fans” gesture to his followers following his recent triumph in the awards in which he scooped three honors namely, Best Music Video, Best Live Act and Best Male Artist.

From 8 PM till your bodies surrender, Theo Thomson, Sonyezo, and Dj Nathan Tunes will be rocking the Cockpit in celebrating with the Nyau King.

By the time you’ll be feeding your eyes on this piece, Entertainer Blak Jak must have been through already in hosting the above named show which aims at unearthing the next best thing in the M-dubz industry.

The winner of the show, sponsored by AXA Coach Services, Stationery Wide, and Village House among others, is to walk away with k75,000 and will record a song with veteran Lucious Banda. K50,000, and K25,000 will go to the second and third winners respectively.

Spicing up the occasion will be Jay Jay Cee, NesNEs, Blaze, and Saint among others.  

The show is to be run in series and the finals are to take place on the 30th of June 2017.

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y, THE OFFICIAL PAY DAY ON THE LAND

The fun is to spill over to this famous date on this magical weekend, of a month end.

ABM DINNER GALA @ M.A.G.U

Association for Business Managers (ABM) has organized a professional a dinner at Malawi Assemblies of God University (MAGU) under the theme; CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY; THE TOOL FOR CREATING COMPETENT PROFESSIONALS.

Starting from 7 PM TILL AROUND 9 PM, Noel Chikoleka, better known by his stage name, Phzyix, and a Chiphinga Mwale will be delivering the lecture to all interested accountants, managers, bankers, marketers and all prospective professionals in those fields.

And that’s not all; Phrey Willz will also be entertaining the participants. This being a formal event, the dress code is strictly dinner wear.

SUN-D-A-Y THE 28TH

Normally, a Sunday is a resting day for most of us after having one too many over a weekend like this. However, being a special weekend, this Sunday, is a no holi-day.

LIZBK & NAMWINO CHIPI (DOUBLE ALBUM LAUNCH) @ DOMINO GARDENS IN ZA

The duo will carry over the fun which is to start on Saturday (at Pa Vybes starting at 8 PM) to this day at Domino Gardens in the old capital city, Zomba.

From one PM onwards, Slashers Band, the Rising Band, Sir PAtricks, Blaze, JayJay Cee, and others will curtain-raise this launch; dishing out their vybz in both of these venues.

Audience records presents Gaffar beats @ Balotelli lodge (Kwa Manje in BTz)

A battalion of youthful urban artists is set to shake the dancefloor at this ghetto cometh Sunday the 28th of May, to mark the end of a fun-thick weekend of May.

Nesnes, Saint, Gaffar, and a whole lot of youngsters are gonna make sure this Sunday should be one of the most memorable one ever.

All this starts by 1 PM.
