NEW TREATS FROM ZATHU PAWAILESI’S SEASON TWO

As the country awaits the launch of the next season of Zathu Pa Wailesi’s radio magazine programs on the 6th of November 2017, the brand has promised new and enterprising activities to its audiences.  

The launch, to be staged in selected districts across the country will also come simultaneously with the commenced of the interactive popular radio play, Zathu Pa Wailesi on various local radio channels as well.

Lilongwe, Machinga, Zomba and Mzimba districts are the chosen few to witness the said launch.

Meanwhile, the road shows to epitomize the said launch will kick off on the 19th of this month with Lilongwe’s Mitundu trading center playing host, before Kawale shares the spoils on the 28th of the same month.

Speaking to the press during a media training on the same, Zathu Pa Wailesi’s Brand Public Relations Officer, Zilanie Gondwe promised new and exciting programs to reach out to all their audiences.

Among others, Zathu’s season Two will see the formation of formal radio listening clubs in both communities and schools so as to meet their targeted audience and increase participation.

According to her, the successful implementation of the maiden edition of Zathu Pa Wailesi has given them the momentum of achieving a similar feat in this forthcoming season.

“Season one was a fantastic success; the show has been reached to about 7 million consumers in all our outlets. The response we get from our audience on things they learn from Zathu has made youngsters to start changing their mindset; this is a sign that changes are taking place, and Zathu influence is taking over,” she explained.    

Meanwhile Zathu Pa Wayilesi has said it will continue its radio series programs in the forth-coming season. The radio drama orbits around a group of 6 young stars who are chasing their dreams as they try to overcome challenges enroute to the realization of their dreams.

And one of the die-hards of the radio program, 18 year old Lilongwe based youngster, Innocent Gomani, who has been following the play since its launch, expressed optimism that season two is also going to be life-changing.

“I just heard that Season Two is coming out soon; I am 100 percent ready! My life has been transformed since the inception of Zathu,” he confessed.

Apart from Music and Drama, Zathu also gives a chance to audience in their Timve Kwainu section where a character of a grandmother, Gogo, responds to various questions mostly to do with adolescent aged youths.
