ENERGETIC C-ZEE REPLACES LILY B ON ZATHU PAWAILESI PROGRAMME

Listeners for popular radio youth magazine programme, Zathu PaWailesi are poised to have a new youthful female voice to be hitting their airwaves come 8th January 2017.

This is going to be the case as Zathu PaWailesi has roped in one of the country’s finest young female presenters, C-Zee birth name Cynthia Zonde Zulu, who is replacing Lily Banda (Lily B). The latter is going out to further her studies.

According to a press statement Zathu has released recently, C-Zee’s voice will officially hit the airwaves on the 8th January 2017 as Zathu PaWailesi will be on Christmas break.

Meanwhile C-Zee has expressed exhilaration to be part of Zathu family.  

“I’m thrilled and honored to be working with such beautiful and talented people. I’m looking forward to bringing our Zathu brand to more young people,” she said.

It is likely C-zee will perfectly blend well into the programme courtesy of her strong background in radio and Television presentation as she had been working with Zodiak Broadcasting station for some time.  

And according to one of her former workmates at ZBS, Luna Mc born Stanley Mpinganjira , C-Zee will definitely bring an aura of excitement to the youthful listening audience .

“She is an enthusiastic young  girl; very talented, and sharp minded! Working with her was fun and exciting. Her move to Zathu will motivate more young people. I’m positive she’ll bring the best at Zathu,” he said.

Meanwhile, the other presenting half of Zathu Pa Wailesi, Dj Goxy, real name Gowokani Nkando said he is ready to partner the new presenter.

“Do not expect anything new, only that C-Zee’s coming will elevate the levels higher and higher because C-Zee will bring another unique trait,” he said.

And according to the media release, the outgoing Lily B was quoted as expressing gratitude to have worked with Zathu and she sounded hopeful that C-Zee was going to fit well in her shoes.

“It’s been an honor to have been part of the rise of Zathu. It takes strong, courageous and creative team to bring something so different yet so necessary to an audience. I’m humbled to have been accepted by the listeners and happy to have contributed to the show .C-Zee ndi dhilu; Malawi will love her too” said Lily B

Lily a renowned Musician, poet and actress   is leaving the show to pursue further studies.

Zathu Wailesi aims at in encouraging platonic friendships among youths aged 13 to 19, with a core to bring girls and boys together to create a new Malawi.
