The Lilongwe, up and coming Reggae Dancehall artist Cyil is set to release his debut EP, “Its been God” on his birthday, 27th Nov 2019, EM can reveal

Cyil explained that the EP is appreciating what God has done for us and giving hope to people who are in need.

“It is telling people to look at what God has done for us. And for those who are asking God to do something for them, Just be patient everything will happen at God’s right time” he explains

Meanwhile, the singer is hopeful the EP is going to be palatable across the generation despite its being urban in nature

“The love of God is for everybody, that is why I do not specify my target audience. It doesn’t matter whether they are young or grown-ups, but I hope that it gets out to everybody,” he explained

According to Cyil born as Sylvester Mbalule, the EP is his final project this year. More videos will be shot from this EP and set to be released 2020.

Its been God EP contains 6 songs which have been craftily handled by various well known producers from different labels such as E-ril , Ken Lo and Sispence.

That aside, there are some sparkling collabos with artists such as Ril-B, Saxess and Its Friday. The latter was featured on the lead single of the EP, Moto, which has charted on various music shows.

Beside music Cyil is a 4^th year student pursuing Education Business at Wadiya University formerly known as the Malawi Polytechnic College.
