Lilongwe-based up and coming rapper, Eso Slique launched his first ever CD, Teenage Lifestyle  in style as he also accumulated about K1.2 Million during the sales on the same.  

The rapper, who is under W.HO record label made the dream start to his rapping career over the weekend at Cleppa in Lilongwe where well-known urban artists plus a sizeable crowd handsomely supported the youngster.  

The turn-out, also excited the youngster and according to him, it was a dream come true.

“I never anticipated such a huge support. I’m so speechless,” he said.  

And what more? All his CDs sold out, making the youngster smile back home with a cool K1.2 Million.

During the launch, established artists like Martse, Vube and Tsar Leo also made their presence felt as they ensured Eso’s debut launch became historical.

Reacting to the launch, WHO’s CEO and himself a rapper as well, Tidacase was all smiles for the successful launch.

“The youngster has talent. We hope his launch will also be a big motivator to other up and coming artists.” He said.  

Teenage lifestyle is an album behind what Slique as a youthful Malawian experiences while chasing his big dreams.

Slique is a form 3 student at Bambino Private school and in a Cambridge class. The album was a little bit delayed as he was also busy with academics.
