When and how did you develop a serious interest in music? : Back in school, when I was in form 3 by then i did hook for rap duo in my hood. We even shot a video for it. i was just doing it for fun, but the hook i did actually caught a number of ears. I ended up getting signed by twilight music back then. That’s when i got really serious. it all jus made me realise my full potential that i could do huge.

Who was your first professional musical producer? I’d say Blage the black genius. By the time i got to know him, he had worked with quiet a number of big artists in the industry by then. So yeah it was an honour working with him and still is that we work together till date.

What was your first serious/ professional song? Mmene zikhalire recorded at twilight music entertainment

Apart from music, what do you do for a living? Well…my life has always been musical. i have a job, i play with a band. So apart from music. i work but the my work is musical still…thats how i survive…but am an abe student at the same time…at pact college

How far have you gone, academically? Am finishing my diploma this year in business management at Pact College

Who’s the best producer you’ve ever worked with? Blage the black genius. He made me do songs that i thought i couldn’t do and made me let out the side of me that i kept locked up without him even knowing he is doing that. The connection that we have when we making beats and all is just everything an artist needs in a producer. Plus he’s got a different touch from the rest that av worked with

Who’s your all time M-dubz rap king? Have always been a huge fan of Hayze Engola of Home Grown Africa. Mad respect for the guy, he’s got bars for days

From your opinion, whom do you think is the current rap M-Dubz’ rap queen? Haven’t heard a lot that are coming out lately, but from what I’ve heard Pinky ice takes the crown for me. She did this song called Rich with Keim, its always been a jam for me ever since i heard it. People should really expect a lot fire from her am certain

Between BTz, and LLz, which city rules the M-dubz urban music? Haha well.. I think we share genres in a way, no city is lagging behind. Llz got Malinga running the dancehall scene, Btz got the likes of Home Grown Africa running the hip-hop scene, Llz got Kell Kay the tsar leo’s. Btz got me Bucci holding it down. So I can’t say one city rules M-dubz nah…don’t wanna cause a commotion. Though I love my city more.

Who’s your favourite local urban artist? I don’t want to mention one, not in order either…Kell Kay, Blaze, Bucci, Tsar Leo. I respect their art.

Who’s your favourite international urban artist? Eric Bellinger .The guy is jus too creative, hands down

What’s your most embarrassing moment you’ve ever encountered as an artist? Hahaha i don’t think have had an embarrassing moment in that way. I have just had downfalls,. They served as lessons, they just weren’t embarrassing per say…

What has been the twilight of your career? The most memorable moment? When I won e wallet. I’d never forget the feeling I had. It was just everything for me. And later on I got nominated for the ump awards. I was like wow!! felt recognised and have always been humbled for such.

Who’s the best artist you’ve ever worked with? Not going to mention him but have always had a guy I wanted to work with but haven’t worked with him yet.  Am working towards it and when i do, its going to seal the deal am sure. But I enjoy all the sessions that am on.

What do you hate most as a person? I hate being snitched on. If I tell you something personal, let it remain like that. Otherwise I’d prolly pull a *Jolly Bro “khalapansi” on you
