    • Blanca – Inspired by my favorite childhood video game, Street Fighter. Carlos Blanca was my favorite character.
    • Sir – A title I gave myself as an honor to my artistry.
    • Chargie – A Jamaican term meaning ‘friend’. Malinga frequently called me that, and it stuck.
  • Date of Birth: November 27, 1995

  • Favorite Food: Rice with vegetables and fish

Journey into Music

What inspired you to join the music industry?
My elder brother was a huge dancehall fan, and his passion for the genre rubbed off on me. I wanted to learn and be part of it.

The Birth of Archaida Universe

How did Archaida Universe come to be, and what has it achieved so far?
Malinga Mafia came up with the idea of forming a team that would create a structured platform for success in the industry. Our main goal was to give opportunities to upcoming talents across different artistic fields.

Achievements:

  • Every artist signed under Archaida Universe has grown significantly, built a strong fan base, and gained recognition as part of one of the best dancehall camps in Malawi.
  • Within just a few years since its formation, the team has made a huge impact on the local dancehall scene.
