Introducing TK: A Story of Strength and Determination

The latest season welcomes Takondwa Jere, also known as TK the Determined (Osagonja). At just 15 years old, TK has shouldered responsibilities far beyond her years. After losing her mother and being abandoned by her father, she has become the caretaker of her 9-year-old sister and 11-year-old brother. Her resilience shines through in her words: “Always be alert and prepared; you never know when you will face challenges.”

Will TK find support among the Zathu friends and the wise Gogo? All she needs is a chance—to continue her education and express herself in ways she never imagined possible.

Exciting Surprises in Season 4

This season, Gogo is going the extra mile—surprising lucky listeners by personally answering their questions. Meanwhile, dynamic presenters C-Zee and Goxy are traveling across Malawi, meeting fans and uncovering inspiring stories of young people making a difference.

Listeners also have exciting competitions to look forward to. Eight lucky fans will win the chance to travel to Lilongwe and co-host the show alongside C-Zee and Goxy in the Zathu Studio! Zathu is a Girl Effect Malawi initiative, created in collaboration with young Malawians and launched in April 2017.
